Robisons Go to Disneyland Saturday, October 30, 2004

Reid Justin had a mandatory test to take in L.A. last Monday, so instead of him leaving the family, we all came with him. Emily did a great job of sleeping the whole time we were driving. She only woke up to eat! What a blessing.

Since we were in L.A., we made the best of it by going to Disneyland. The kids were finally old enough to enjoy some more of the scary rides. I guess Dallin finally got over his tramatic experience from Disney World. They even did the Haunted Mansion.

One of the highlights was the short line to get your picture with a Disney Princess.

Dallin's favorite thing about the trip was eating lunchables.

See the picure in "other photos" section to see his special spot in the hotel room where he ate his lunchables.

After a long day of Disneyland, bedtime could not wait. Dallin fell asleep at the Resturant on the booth seat.

Halloween

For Halloween this year, Amanda was an ice cube and Dallin was a ghost. They thought very highly of their costumes (I think because they thought of them by themselves). Emily was a little pumpkin.

Grandpa came up to trick-or-treat with the kids. We didn't know that it would be such a fast trick-or-treat outing, but Dallin insisted that he had enough candy, so we turned back after only 6 houses. Everybody was giving away a lot of candy.

When Amanda got home from Trick-or-treating, she immediately dumped her candy on the floor and started eating.

Dallin was excited to find out that he could eat as much candy as he wanted when he got home. He thought for awhile that he would only get to eat 2 candies a day. What a well disciplined child.

Emily has a happy dream

Happy Halloween!

Pick Me Up Wednesday, October 13, 2004

When you are feeling rushed and have all kinds of pressures in your day to day schedule, it is good medicine to think about the three baby cousins and "smile." What a blessing they are to each of the families. What good therapy to cuddle one of these beautiful babies or capture their smile. So as you rush through those hectic schedules...stop and enjoy this moment ...and smile

They too have their mood swings...some days they might be a challenge the whole day and then the next day all smiles.

The highlight of 2004 just has to be these three cousins. Ever wonder what a fourth color of quilt would have been?

Emily Steals the Show Sunday, October 10, 2004

They came from as far away as Minden, Nevada and Boise, Idaho and were not disappointed as Emily Anna Robison was blessed today by her father Reid Justin Robison.

Here is the Priesthood group that helped Reid Justin in the blessing circle.

The woman of the hour was of course, Emily Anna's mother Lisa, shown here.

Pretty in Pink

A good one for the funny book was from Amanda in Church this day, who was not looking at the pulpit when someone starting bearing their testimony. She did not notice a deacon giving the roving mike to a ward member and when she looked up at the pulpit and saw noone was there, she exclaimed "a ghost!" She heard a voice...she knew she did...but noone was at the pulpit.

Spa Girl

Emily wants to continue to steal the show as she models this little number straight from the salad bowl.
