A friend of mine talked me into a little 2 day 1 night camping trip to Moab this week. We drove down Wednesday morning, set up camp at a beautiful site along the colorado river tucked under a 100 ft red rock cliff. 
We spent the afternoon at the mecca of mountain biking: Slick Rock. After camping that night, we went on a full day white water rafting trip the next day. The morning was spent in a raft, but the afternoon we switched to kayaks. The water was freezing, but there were some fun rapids.
