Christmas Eve Eve Monday, December 26, 2005

The Staleys came from Boise for a brief visit before Christmas.

Grandma did all kinds of crafts with the kids.

The kids put on their annual christmas pageant with Jeremy as director and cinematographer.

We had a turkey dinner that night, as well as the legendary chocolate fountain.

Christmas Eve

Dallin and Amanda just couldn't contain themselves. Christmas lasted several days this year food, games, and presents for 3 days straight.

We spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa Robison's house. Grandpa told the story of baby Jesus.

Christmas

Emily was the first to wake up Christmas morning. Dallin was next and the first thing he said was "Merry Christmas". They lined up by age and then ran into the living room to see what Santa brought.

It was a fairly quiet Christmas day at Grandma & Grandpa's house.

Emily is at a fun age and old enough to get excited about Christmas. After checking out her stocking, Emily finished off Santa's milk.

We all took turns opening the presents we got for eachother.

Santa brought Amanda a dress-up set but Emily had to try it out too.

Christmas Season Friday, December 23, 2005

Christmas is a happy time of year. The kids are so excited. Today we went downtown with Grandma, Grandpa and all the cousins to see the new Joseph Smith movie (on Joseph's birtday) and to eat at the Lion House.

Emily likes to dress up as rudolph (and as santa - see below).

Here's a picture of Amanda in front of the lights on Temple square.

Lisa put up Christmas lights and Reid put up some new black shutters.

Dallin's first chair lift ride

Although Dallin went on a tow rope a few times last year, yesterday was his first time on the real chair lift

He loved skiing but still has not figured out the whole turning thing.

Grandma and Grandpa are going away on a...

It's sad and exciting. Grandpa Reid Sr. and Grandma Diane have just been called to be mission presidents. We don't know where yet, but it will be "somewhere french speaking."

They will leave in the summer of 2006 and will most likely be gone for 3 years. Missions that seem to be opening up this summer are Geneva, Brussels, and maybe Haiti, Congo, Ivory Coast, Madagascar...

Emily hard at work Sunday, November 27, 2005

Emily likes to wake up at 5:30 in the morning so she sometimes can't help falling asleep in random places.

She likes to empty cupboards and drawers. Here's a picture of emily doing some dishes. You can see the kitchen counters are pretty much done. Still need to paint and put up the lights though.
