dallin's a wolf

go dallin

mom's chocolate mousse

this recipe really should have been in our cookbook... don't know how we missed it

(by the way Joelle- you don't get a copy of next year's cookbook because of your grapenuts remark)

Chocolate Mousse
via Diane

3-4 oz dark chocolate
1/4 c sugar
5 T milk (or less)
3 eggs (separated)
1 cup heavy cream

Melt chocolate, add sugar, add milk. Stir until sugar dissolves
Beat egg yolks in a separate bowl. Put a little of the chocolate mixture into the egg yolks, and then mix it all slowly back into the pan. Beat egg whites in a mixer until peaks form. Fold into the chocolate mixture. Beat 1 cup cream until whipped, fold into chocolate mixuture... Save a bit to put on top for garnish. Shave a little chocolate on top of that. Cool then serve.

Lisa at 13 1/2 weeks with twins

At about 12 weeks I just popped out and started to show. This week I finally started wearing some maternity clothes. My next door neighbor has been so nice (she had twins 4 months ago). She brought me over 3 bags of clothes. Now I have size S, M, and Large clothes. More pictures to come!

a mousepad from amanda with her orginal art

we even made a few attempts at a family photo after church

some of us took a stroll in the neighborhood... it was hot.

Here are a few select photos from my phone from the recent trip. More are coming soon from the real camera...

lisa getting some practice:

amanda posing in the backyard

climbing rocks by the river

the kids, banished to the mud room for dinner

it was too cold to eat on the deck, so the dinner table got pretty crowded

the girl cousins are outnumbered

3 year olds being silly, and teenagers texting in the background

the noise level was pretty crazy at times

a game of name that tune

Candee bought a school bus for the occasion (instead of 35 people in a caravan through yellowstone and jackson hole)

an evening at a cattle ranch in jackson hole for some BBQ and cowboy entertainment

the old fashioned soda machine at city drug in ashton

see that moose in the river?

a trip to the rexburg temple

while the cousins babysat eachother in the theater room back on the homefront

and a communal dinner (wash your hands first please...)
