ski day Saturday, December 29, 2007

We all went skiing yesterday at the Canyons. Kelsey was sore from snowboarding the day before, so she stayed home with Emily.

The Kurths are in town for a few days. The first day was Kenzie's birthday. The kids made a cake that morning, then we all went out for pizza and bowling at night.

Christmas morning

This morning Dallin woke up first at 6am. I made him wait in his room and read for an hour before I woke anyone else up. At 7am we woke up the girls and the kids headed into the livingroom to see what Santa had brought them. Right now Reid and Dallin are still working on a marble track from Santa. Emily really enjoyed this Christmas. Right now she is playing with a play princess camera that she got from Dallin and Amanda. I took all the pictures this morning on my new digital camera that I got from Reid. My camera phone just wasn't doing the trick.

After we took the time to go through our stockings, we took tuns opening our presents under the tree. The kids really like all of their presents. Some of the things we got. . . Reid got a watch, Lisa got a crockpot, Dallin got a frog game, Amanda got a high school mucical dance pad, and Emily got a bunny towel.

After presents we made a big breakfast. We ate, blueberry pancakes, sausage, eggs, milk, and sticky buns. We have just been playing with toys all day long. Emily had a bubble bath, I took a nap in a new soft blanket. Hope everyone is having a merry Christmas!
