Amanda is FOUR! Tuesday, May 31, 2005

Today we celebrated Amanda's 4th birthday (although Dallin and Amanda both insist that is is really her 5th birthday because it was her birthday when she was first born).

We drove up to Salt Lake so that Amanda could be with her long loved friends. First we swam at the pool.

After some swimming, we went to the park next to the pool to have cake, in the shape of a pool.

After cake, the kids got to take home a bag of goodies, which included sunglasses.

Some things that Amanda likes to do: Making up and singing her own songs. Playing house. Putting on lip gloss. Playing with friends. Eating chocolate. Performing. Dressing up. Playing Primary (she loves to give the talk)

Things Amanda likes to eat: Icecream. Chocolate. Cheetoes.

Extras about Amanda. Amanda love to immitate. That is why she is so good at performing. She also loves to be around people. She enjoys being in charge. She is very happy about not taking naps ever again.

Graduation(s) Sunday, May 22, 2005

We never thought the day would come, but Dr. Reid Justin finally graduated. After finishing the 22nd grade, we think school is officially over -- medical school commencement took place on Saturday (May 20th), and MBA graduation was earlier this month.

Lisa Turns 28 Sunday, May 8, 2005

Yesterday we celebrated Lisa's birthday. She started the day off with some breakfast in bed. Then she went to an 1.5 hour exercise class to get ready for big greasy once-a-year lunch consisting of a cheeseburger, onion rings, and milk shake.

The afternoon was not too restful since we are moving in a few days and needed to start packing and taking things to our storage unit. We had presents, then a BBQ with friends that night, and then caught up on TiVo shows until midnight. The girls especially enjoyed the chocolate-covered chocolate cake covered in chocolate and raspberry hagen-daz ice cream.
