Easter Pictures of Kids Tuesday, March 22, 2005

Today I took pictures of the kids in their new Easter dress up. They have all really grown.

Dallin and Amanda still love to keep Emilly happy. They are so sweet to her. Emily hasn't learned to sit up yet, so the kids helped her out in the pictures. Emily's latest favorite food is peas!At Emily's 6 month check up she was 75% in her height, 40% in her weight, and 95% in her head size. She impressed the Dr. by waving bye bye. She hasn't waved since.

Dallin has been busy thinking hard. Yesterday he was telling all about how our city didn't have a lot of pipes. I finally asked him how he could tell that there weren't a lot of pipes. He told me, "because there aren't a lot of colorings on the sidewalk, street and grass". Months ago he had asked me why there was orange paint on the sidewalk and I told them that it was there so they knew where the pipes were.

Dallin was telling me today that Heaven was in Boise. When I asked why he thought it was in Boise he said that that is where Barbara was.

Amanda is generally in her own pretend world. She loves to get pretty. She was sad when she forgot to wash her face before pictures. She wanted to look nice for the pictures.

MATCH DAY Thursday, March 17, 2005

The big question that everybody wants to know is where we will be living for the next 4 years. The answer is UTAH! Yes, Reid matched right here at the University Utah.

We have a lot to figure out because we have already accepted 2 offers on our home. We are excited that we will be so close to family, since that was the biggest drawback of any of our other choices.

When we got to the Marriott hotel, the dean cut a green ribbon and we all entered the conference room where Reid found his envelope that said where he matched. We opened it together. The medical students came up to the microphone one by one to announce where they are going and played a big game of press your luck.
